History

Diamond Chemical Co., LLC. was founded in 1930 by Jacob Diamond. The company began as a manufacturer of Sodium Hypochlorite (liquid bleach), which was sold to consumers door to door – and later to laundromats and commercial laundries.

As we grew, we began manufacturing products for laundry and dry cleaning, as well as specialty chemicals. As industry in the United States expanded after World War II, Diamond Chemical grew to meet the need. Soon we were serving businesses of all kinds, expanding our product offerings into warewash, floor care, housekeeping, organic intermediates, industrial and consumer products.

Two generations later, Diamond Chemical continues to grow.
